Web Portfolio => Linguistics Department Courses (UBC)

I have developed several course websites for the Linguistics Dept. at UBC, where I worked from 2003 to 2005. Most use PHP and mySQL and allow easy adding of content by the instructor and homework submissions by the students. Not all the fuctionallity is available without logging in. Below are two of the sites I developed.

Click the screenshot below to open the Ling 310 website in a new window. This site allows students to upload assignments to be marked, to share with group members, or to share with the entire class. It also allows the instructor to upload lecture notes and homework assignments.

Click the screenshot below to open the Ling 100 website in a new window. This website does not have login functionallity. However, it does automatically generate the links to the homework assignments, questionaires, Q&A questions, and lecture notes; the instructor only needs to drop the files in the appropriate folder on the server.
