This site, which I helped develop as part of my co-op work term, was created using the Plone content management system. Content can be added by any member of the OLT staff, and in addition there is a private intranet as part of this site, inaccessible by the public. Acheiving the look of this site required editing both stylesheets and templates, and also creating new templates for some elements. In addition, I also created Python commands for some of the functionallity of the site; Plone is written in Python, and comes with a wide range of functionality, but I found I needed to modify some of it to suit our needs.
This site has since been redeveloped, as a result of the merge between OLT and UBC eLearning.
