This site, which I helped develop as part of my co-op work term, uses <div>s and CSS rather than a table layout. The server-side scripting is PHP, with the registration pages being done in lasso. This is entirely behind the scenes, as the lasso pages are called by the PHP wrapper as a server-side include. Server-side includes are also used for the header, side navigation, and footer. The site is fully accessible (AAA Bobby approved) and renders properly on nearly all browsers, including handhelds. Some browsers (including Netscape 4 and handhelds) which cannot render the full site are given a low-graphics version with a simpler layout.
