Any of the Vair shapes (Vair, Ancien, Potent) can be combined with any of the arrangements (Standard, In Pale, Counter-, En Point).

Any of the furs can be used with any combination of one colour and one metal; tinctures other than the defaults must be blazoned explicitly (Vairy X and Y / Potenty X and Y / X ermined Y).
