Wonder how good it would be as radiation shielding…. particularly neutrino shielding. Alpha and beta radiation are pretty easy to stop with any kind of solid/dense material, and really not worth pulling out the exotic stuff for. Gamma rays are just photons, and Vibranium seems to reflect visible light and various beam weapons and such, but most materials either absorb, reflect, or transmit photons differently based on their wavelength, so I’m not sure how to guess that, unless we know the density of the stuff, since that seems to be the main thing with x-rays. Even gamma rays aren’t that hard to shield against with other stuff, though. Neutrinos are the super difficult ones to stop, but they do carry kinetic energy (They’re lighter than electrons, but they’re not quite massless, unlike photons). So, it depends whether vibranium’s reaction to different levels of kinetic energy depends more on the total amount of energy or the speed of what’s hitting it… (We know it’s non-Neutonian, because Cap can bounce it off rocks, so it’s not dampening all collisions, and it doesn’t resist absorbing momentum and moving/changing direction when whoever’s carrying it is ducking around erratically in a fight, but it does resist moving in reaction to a high-energy impact, like Thor’s hammer hitting it.)
